In our quest to provide outstanding childcare we have a whole team dedicated to Quality. These enthusiastic, experienced childcare professionals are committed to exceeding expectations and maintaining high quality at all of our Co-operative Childcare nurseries.
As we seek to go above and beyond the industry standard we have a Quality and Compliance Advisor (QCA) who undertakes quality compliance assessment visits at all our nurseries. This is to help ensure that the quality of our nursery practice meets the highest standards and is compliant with both the Learning and Development requirements, and Safeguarding and Welfare requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
After the assessment visit the QCA produces a report grading the quality of the nursery practice in line with those measures used by Ofsted and the EYFS. The report identifies aspects of practice for development to help the manager and staff team bring about changes to achieve the very highest standards of care, and exceptional educational programmes for our children. Nurseries do not know when the visits will take place because the visits are unannounced. This is to help ensure the highest standards expected by The Co-operative Childcare are maintained at all times.
