We have a great opportunity for a Cook to join our nursery team. If you have what it takes to prepare creative and nutritious meals for our little ones we would love to hear from you! Our Chef Role is Monday-Friday daytime hours!

Salary:

The salary banding for this position is between £17,095 - £25,295 per annum.

Role Requirements:

Prepare meals and snacks for the children in the nursery, maintain and order stock, keep accurate records and keep a clean, safe and tidy working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum level 2 food hygiene qualification or certified equivalent within 3 years
  • This role will require a DBS check at enhanced level to be obtained, Occupational Health Check & 2 satisfactory References.

Role Expectations:

To be responsible for the preparation and serving of healthy, nutritionally balanced meals and snacks to all children in the nursery setting. Work within the Food Safety, Health and Safety and other Policies and Procedures of the Society in maintaining a safe and hygienic catering environment.

However, occasionally situations may arise that require the post holder to perform other duties or tasks as may be reasonably requested by the Society.
