We’re after a sparky bright Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team. Reporting into a very lively Sales and Marketing Manager you will support The Co-operative Childcare’s digital strategy bringing creativity, innovation and a solid understanding (with a fair amount of practical experience) on how to excel in customer acquisition and retention.

And the really exciting part…you’ll be a key player in developing a brand new user focused website that drives customer and colleague engagement with all  45 of our nurseries.

Job Summary

Supporting the Sales & Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Co-ordinator will support the Childcare Groups digital marketing strategy to gain new customers, retain existing customers and align with the group vision.

This role will support with all digital elements of the marketing and communications strategy including online, social media, SEO, content, conversion tracking and liaising with third party agencies.

The Childcare Group expect this individual to be highly creative with experience in devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate. Responsible for copy writing and creating content providing a medium to grow customers through education and engagement, they will be confident in briefing and involving internal/external developers and agencies.

Additionally the Digital Marketing Co-ordinator will support with the ongoing development of The Co-operative Childcare website, constantly improving the usability, design, and conversion rate with primary responsibility to ensure relevant timely updates to drive brand/sales/communications.

 

Key Responsibilities

The post holder shall

  • Brief internal developers in the society e-commerce team to create microsites and landing pages.
  • Work with the Sales & Marketing Manager as well as internal and external digital agencies to deliver on Childcare digital and social media campaigns
  • Support SEO strategy including the production and outreach of content, engaging with bloggers where necessary
  • Brief and work alongside agencies to provide creative artwork required for digital display campaigns
  • Create and proof relevant content across all digital channels in line with the Group’s objectives ensuring updates on all channels are timely and accurate.
  • Grow our social media presence
  • Manage enquiries on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • With support from the Society Digital team manage the Group’s Google profiles, including Google Plus and Google Maps to ensure accurate information and a strong and relevant offer with links back to the Group’s own digital channels.
  • Manage other search platform profiles that influence search traffic, such as daynurseries.co.uk, to ensure optimum traffic to the Group’s website
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activity and develop reporting on the performance metrics of all digital marketing campaigns and channels
  • Collate, analyse and communicate web analytics and campaign tracking data to demonstrate return on investment and to inform future campaign planning
  • Identify growing traffic sources and develop plans to nurture and develop them whilst flagging under-performing traffic sources and develop plans to address them
  • Work closely with the Group’s PR agency to ensure that PR is maximised online and any campaigns are supported by the Group’s online channels
  • Work closely with creative agencies, the Society marketing function and the Group’s commercial team to make sure the Childcare brand values and personality are followed at all times.
  • Positively contribute to any Childcare projects as and when required.
  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.
