What our parents say

Both our children attend the nursery, we would like to thank you personally for the care that they have been given and your willingness to listen and act on feedback to ensure we have felt confident that our children were safe and happy.

We have been very happy with the level of care that Keira has received with you. Her development has been a total joy for us. All the staff at the nursery are kind courteous and loving. Thank you for everything you have done.

Really enjoyed being at the nursery and I will recommend the nursery to all my friends and colleagues.

I love this nursery as does my son who can't wait to come here and never wants to leave. The staff are all fantastic, smiley and friendly who engage my son in activities the minute he gets through the door. The food is fantastic, my fussy son eats it all.

Lovely, friendly nursery, my child is very happy there and I feel reassured that he is well cared for.

My husband and I are so happy with the care and support our son receives at nursery. The staff are always happy to see him and they are great at informing us of what he has been up to and the things he is working on. We really like the extra little things such as the chickens, growing vegetables in the garden and the lovely menus. Thank you!

Our daughter is very happy there and enjoys going. The staff are very good and they do a lot of learning and creative activities with the children. Also the food is very good, cooked on site and offering a great variety.

We have been delighted at the care our daughter has received at Co-op nursery. She thoroughly enjoys her time there and has an excellent relationship with the staff there. I am very impressed with the set up and services offered. Thank you.

Activities

In our nurseries, there are many activities in addition to the core learning and play that takes place at the nursery and supports the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. An example of this is Tatty Bumpkin classes that are inspired by yoga, but are very much a creative and developmental experience. A typical session centres around Tatty Bumpkin, a quirky character, who takes the children on musical story adventures. Within the stories the children take part in lots of physical activity, relaxation, yoga poses, exploring texture and the senses, as well as the unique Tatty Bumpkin songs. The children also enjoy trips to the library as it is close by and have various visitors which have included the sensory bus, fire engine and police car.

Outdoor Facilities

The garden is enchanting, with spaces to hide, run and dig. Natural shade is provided by our willow structure and a permanent sail shade protects us from the elements all year round.

Our pre-school children also enjoy going to Forest School - an environment where they can run, hide, discover and explore, take risks and develop self confidence in an alternative setting.

Parents as Partners

We have a fantastic relationship with our parents, who we work in partnership with to ensure children's learning and development is linked at home and at nursery. Parents attend regular workshops and events in nursery and happily share information about their child to help build up a detailed picture of their progress.
