What we do

Food

We have recently been awarded the level 2 Startwell award that is a healthy eating Programme that encourages healthy nutritious meals

All Meals are cooked on site that follows guidance from the Startwell Programme.

Sensory
Activities

In our nurseries, there are many activities in addition to the core learning and play that takes place at the nursery and supports the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. An example of this is Tatty Bumpkin classes that are inspired by yoga, but are very much a creative and developmental experience. A typical session centres around Tatty Bumpkin, a quirky character, who takes the children on musical story adventures. Within the stories the children take part in lots of physical activity, relaxation, yoga poses, exploring texture and the senses, as well as the unique Tatty Bumpkin songs. The children also enjoy trips to the library as it is close by and have various visitors which have included the sensory bus, fire engine and police car.

Outdoor Facilities

Children have direct access to four Gardens including a paved area with large climbing frame castle, Sensory Garden with Tree House, Grassed area with Original  Farm Tractor and an under 2’S Garden

Parents as Partners

A Parents Forum that takes place three times a year for parents to put their ideas and suggestions forward.

Parents are encouraged to add to planning and receive 'snap shots' of their child’s day through e mail which has  proven  to be a very successful way to share photographs and observations

Inspire Workshops are organized quarterly to involve both parents and grandparents in a variety of experiences.

Recommend a friend and if they register their child you'll both receive £50 OFF | T&C's apply

Together, we will strive to create a challenging, stimulating atmosphere which is both creative and enjoyable. Here, all members will be given encouragement and support in order to achieve their own potential in becoming independent and lifelong learners and, in order to make a positive contribution to society.
